@ramhuzaini Were you able to connect to OPC servers on local machine? I am exploring mango and just can't see OPC servers installed locally on my PC. The server dropdown remains empty, which I assume should get filled with all registered OPC servers. Will appreciate any tips on how to correctly configure an OPC DA source in mango.

Thank you for the very thorough first post!

The kWh value is only really used to display "daily usage" of 15 - 30 kWh. It could be read every 15 - 30 minutes.

Another possibility I forgot to mention would be using a scripting data source to enable, wait, and then disable the points that don't need the faster poll rate, and then speed up the polling on the data source normally.

OK no idea why but it appears that it can't load the module Javascript files from the backend. Check your Mango instance CPU and memory usage and also disk space. Unless you are just on a shitty connection to the backend?

I've made some amendments (copy from above) - sure enough the data we needed was inside the runtime property. BUT I found the solution!
The sodding datapoint query doesn't work in 3.7 without setting the script permissions.
Normally these were populated by default, but this is no longer the case. In this case, make the script permission run as superuser to get your points through, or at least the user allowed to read those points.

Once you've done that you'll be away!

I've never figure out how to get rxtx to work on 64 bit Ubuntu. It works fine on 32 bit just fine.

Any object type CAN have a Description property, but it is optional. Similarly, there is nothing wrong with the fact that your code asks info on vendor object types, what was wrong was that when it got the unknown object response, it stopped any further requests. It should, if anything, report that error in the results, and carry on. If you are only asking for objects returned by an object_list request, you SHOULDN'T ever see that error, but BACNet manufacturers are notorious for not checking everything out, and bugs like this exist everywhere. The error just needs to be handled gracefully.

In the case of those bugged devices, those points are AV's, but are not being reported as such properly in the object_list. I'm in communication with the manufacturer about getting the firmware fixed.

finaly i got it up and running, now i am missing values from one data point, ill gusess something went wrong while updating :(
the performance of the graphical view is better than the upgrade to 2.6.

now find out how to fix the missing value's and than renaming the folder to mango and it should work

Steve, you can create a binary point on a holding register, and specify the bit in the register that you want.

In my option it would be best practice to set the Slave ID of a replacement Modbus device the same as the one it's replacing.

Also, it's really easy to change the slave ID of a set of points be either exporting all the points as JSON or csv. Making the change with a find and replace or in Excel and then importing them on the Configuration Import / Export page.

There is a setting in your developer tools that can disable caching while you have the developer tools open. I would encourage you to check that and keep your developer tools open during development, both for the cache and seeing anything that is being printed to the console.
