@phildunlap Thanks Phil, I'll see what I can come up with! In the short term, Its probably going to be easier to just capture the values from the static OIDs and do checks within mango for out of range with an event detector. Cheers! -Shaun

@shaun I just followed your exact steps using Mango Core v3.1.1 and Mango UI v3.1.5 and I had no problems. You have to replace adminTemplate in 2 places, make sure you get both. Can you let me know your core and UI module versions, what browser you are testing on, and also open the developer console (Ctrl-Shift-I in chrome) and let me know if there are any errors in the console. Also try clearing your cache. edit: I'm going to say again that we don't recommend taking this route, you would be better off using a custom page or the dashboard designer unless you have a need for a highly customized app and you are comfortable maintaining it.

Thanks! It looks like the upgrade went fine, so I'm all the more curious how they disappeared. It says in your upgrade log: 'Upgraded 131 event handlers.' Would this have been the number of other handlers, not counting the ones we generated? Does the result from running the SQL SELECT count(id) FROM eventHandlers; give a seemingly sensible number?

Just to update this... I had a maintenance window out of hours and updates packages with apt, then rebooted, and now its working.. I don't think updating the packages is what did it, more likely it was the reboot that fixed it. Weird. Hope this helps someone else if they see similar behaviour. Cheers! -Shaun

Thanks all!... @Jared-Wiltshire thats good to know :) I'm starting to get the hang of angular now and how to embed expressions for simple logic operations now. In this case, I ended up going with the metadata point @Will-Geller suggested. Works like a charm! @phildunlap was right too, having historical data is actually very handy in this case, especially for the reporting I'll have to do. Cheers!

This is going to be added into Mang0 v4 at some point. The backend API is there but there is not yet any UI for it. Keep an eye out for when Mango v4 is release and the release notes. It should be coming in the next couple months.

Hi Jared, I've not tried recently with the latest version, but previously I've had issues with applying the license to a docker image. Joel and i tried a few things, but were unable to make the licence 'stick'. What would happen is we would install the licence, the mango instance would restart, and in the logs it behaved as though the licence file wasn't created on disk. Does it work fine with your Dockerfile above? Cheers! -Shaun
