I'm not sure I understand your example. You can certainly enter something like 1.2 as the multiplicand, to change 22 to 26.4. I assume this is the SNMP data source?

The answer is likely no, there is not a general purpose tool other than Meta Points or connecting a Point Link or Script to a virtual point for arbitrary transformations of a value. Meta points are incredibly flexible, and if you're running on Java 8 their overhead is very small (still pretty small on Java 7, only somewhat problematic on stressed single core machines), especially if they're doing simple multiplication / math.

If you import a point with the same XID as one in the system it will be updated. Points in the CSV with new XIDs will be created. There is currently no way to delete points through the CSV.

Here is a video about using the AngularJS code inside a graphic view. You might be able to replace some of your server side scripts with this code. If you want to send us your graphic view JSON export we can take a look and make more recommendations.

. Phil The trouble it turns out was the h2-*.jar file being on my computer not on the server. After I moved it the console connected with no errors and I can see all the data points from my computer. Again thanks for all your help.

I was previously avoiding using the suffix since it is tied to the Property Template. I'll go ahead and fine tune the property templates moving instead of using the generic one that I had made.

I will bring it up with the team.

I don't think they need to be contiguous in the table, but it's probably the easiest way to verify the spacing of the register offsets for the data types. The import thing is that there are no gaps between registers and that all points are enabled. I will talk to the team about the need to have points enabled, too.

Yeah, we'll be sure to include a note about this behavior in the publisher's documentation on the page in the next release.

So after playing around with the screens a bit more, it seems that the visible editing screen is not set at a particular resolution so it won't show the true layout until it is displayed on the appropriate screen.

I was able to manually change the X-Y coordinates, as you mentioned in the last post to put it in the right place, half blindly. I refreshed the page with every change. Eventually I got it in the right position.

However, if using docked layout containers, it shows up as it would on the final screen.

Did you remove the Modbus Module, that would be the only way I see to get that error?

I'll need to do a lot of reading before I feel confident with scripting and calling the API.

I thought that the Excel report was a lot more work then it really was. I just created a template with a ton of extra columns and I can change the points accordingly every time. I originally thought I would need to create a new template every time I needed new points but that is clearly not the case in my situation.

Depending on the hardware you have on site, you may be able lo do without. For example, we utilize Red Lion HMI's.

The HMI could be used as a gateway to the AB PLC via Modbus.

However the amount of work it requires outweighs the cost of the driver by a lot. Once the settings were correct, it hasn't let me down.

We're running about 200 points on a Virtual machine with 1 CPU and 4GB of RAM.

Normal system usage is about 1.5-2% CPU and 1.5GB RAM.

Once again you come to my rescue! You are quite correct.

It appears that the iStat automatically assumes holding registers and so if you want an address of 40023, you need to put 23 in the modbus address for the data block. That information is not available in the documentation =(

Then when reading from Mango, the offset needs to be -1, so you'd be pulling with offset 22 to get the right data point.

I tested the three functions you mention to confirm they work (I thought they were standard functions since... ever) on java 7 and they do.

Currently, there are no restrictions on the free version of the module. I am not aware of any plans to change that. Your next question is naturally, "why?" Think of it as a "wikipedia" style module. If you buy it, you help support the product and help us work toward our ultimate goals, which will include more things for free, not less.

OK I have fair idea what you're getting at, I'll try it with the meta data source and see if I can pick out the required values.

Are these charts on Mango pages like the Point Details page, Watch List page or do you have a custom dashboard with charts? Does the page have other components that do load ok but just the charts don't load?

The Image is sort of in the database. The HTTP Image source will save your images into Mango/web/WEB-INF/filedata/ and save file information into the database as a string. You certainly can use an HTML component to load a remote image for your graphical view, as well.
