Hi Cyril, We can do custom development on any version you prefer. For commercial clients currently we typically we do development for them on the latest version of Mango M2M which then becomes the next version. For work with ScadaBR I would recommend talking with them directly. If this work needs to start very soon and you want it in the open source version and do not want to purchase a commercial license then we would work with Mango version 12.4 which is publicly owned. Going forward our preference would be to do development with Mango Automation which will be the replacement of M2M2 and the plan is to eventually make this the replacement of Mango M2M as well. Mango Automation is build in a modular way which makes the development process much easier and give much more flexibility to customize for client specific applications. There is documentation and the idea is to encourage others to develop modules that can be offered and sold through the Mango Automation store. Modules for Mango Automation are both Open Source and some are or can be closed source so it give all the options. Currently the core of MA is closed source but we are considering also making the core open source so that it can become the real replacement of Mango M2M. The open source license for Mango Automation will be different than Mango M2M and a commercial license will be required for commercial applications but the license will be a lot less than Mango M2M. The evolution of the Mango software products is really based on what our customers want and are willing to contribute financially toward. If your company wants to sponsor an open source project that has a lot of potential going forward then I think we should talk more about Mango Automation as that option and help us release this product to the public. I can’t really comment of how ScadaBR would work for you, you would need to talk with them. Sincerely, Joel.

Hi people, I need someone to explain me the following: I downloaded Mango M2M Binaries from http://mango.serotoninsoftware.com/download.jsp. I need source code of Mango which will after building produce the same binaries as the ones I downloaded from http://mango.serotoninsoftware.com/download.jsp. However, I read on the forum that such source code doesn't exists. The only source code I can find is here http://mango.serotoninsoftware.com/forum/posts/list/979.page#4180 (developed by ScadaBR). If I build this source code (mango 1.12.3 or mango 1.12.4), will it produce the same application as the one on http://mango.serotoninsoftware.com/download.jsp ? Thank you very much! Dusan

Great things about buying these are that there are many different accessories that a person can choose from. People can buy an insert to help support arches. These things are usually bought separately. Different laces can be bought, or something to help waterproof the pair. Asking a salesman about their products helps. Hi Kevary, I understand your frustration I also had difficulties when I first learned about Mango and was not familiar with Java and Tomcat. We offer private training and support where we can guide you through the installation process. You can purchase support time by the hour on our new webpage at this link: http://infiniteautomation.com/index.php/services.html One hour should be enough to get it all installed and how you how to use all the basic feature. Thanks, Joel.

it seems it fixed it, no new alarm for 10 minutes. I thought about that option when reading the changelog of 1.2.0rc, but 1.1.0 had the same problem so I dismissed it. thanks - I will continue testing... ; feel free to ask if you want me to test that setup again with in case you patch something.

Dear, I want to use the new Mango M2M2 in my home automation system in order to "talk" with my Siemens S7-226 PLC. Since I did not found a direct integration, I've installed the Siemens OPC server component. Unfortunately, I do not succeed in configuring the OPC server in Mango M2M2. Whenever I want to register it as datasource, I enter all data (username, password, servername, ...) but I can not select the OPC server installed on that server from the listbox. Probably I am doing something wrong overhere.... can somebody help me out please? I am using the latest M2M2 binary (found on this website) together with the OPC DA module (version 1, I belive). Kind REgards, D

This has been narrowed down to a Derby problem. It will be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, if you set a "home url" for the user, the problem should go away.

Only settable points can be listed there. If you have no settable points, your list will be empty.

We currently have a customer logging around 500 samples every 2 seconds, so i think you'll likely be ok. I recommend you separate your database server from your M2M2 server and scale the hardware as necessary.

The easy answer is to have 10 M2M2 instances. But to answer the question you asked, at the moment there are no mechanisms for this, but there is no corporate philosophy preventing them from being added.

No. It's possible it was already discovered and fixed in dev.
