@sky_watcher there is no limit to the number of users on a system. Those recommendations are according to the hardware specs. Each concurrent user uses up some server resources, the more powerful your server the more concurrent users you can safely have.

      Hi sky_watcher,

@cwangv is correct that Mango does not expose options to operate as a BBMD, and you did say it's a MangoES so that applies. But this is the BACnet4J section of the forum, so I must mention there is code to do this in BACnet4J. Notice the bbmdEnabled variable in LocalDevice,

I used that function because it will give a java.util.List which we could addAll to the other list acquired the same way. You could also use the lastValue function, as described in the JavaScript help, or simply use the .value and .time from the point (which actually wouldn't work quite right here because we need to go through the text renderer, and a .value is a primitive data type usually instead of a DataValue object.

When it is recommended to move from MangoES box to a powerful PC?

When you expect the load on the server to exceed what you find the ES to be capable of. From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ODROID#Specifications for the XU4,

      CPU: Exynos 5422 Octa big.LITTLE ARM Cortex-A15 @ 2.0 GHz quad-core and Cortex-A7 quad-core CPUs Memory: 2 GB LPDDR3 RAM at 933 MHz (14.9 GB/s memory bandwidth) PoP stacked

      This could be because

You have several users opening analytical type dashboards at the same times (where they're just requesting graph after graph while using it). You have a very complex control algorithm / predictive analytics You need to run large reports

Past that, an ES, having less computing power than the prospective powerful computer, would be less forgiving with inefficiencies created in configuration, like

Not using Websockets or the AngularJS dashboarding tools and directives for dashboards. Inefficient meta or scripting data source scripts.

To the root of the question, we usually would recommend adding another Mango (perhaps in the cloud) and then move the analytics and display responsibility onto that instance (so, publish all the data from the ES). Then the ES is certainly able to handle thousands of data points. It divides the user access for better distribution of the responsibilities of the system (leaving control unburdened with servicing user requests typically).

Nothing is returned from the subscribe function, so the command you have stopped on wouldn't have anything to print. Because the JavaScript in a browser executes in a single threaded way, the onmessage function couldn't log anything if execution is paused.

      You should

Make sure that the data points have permissions set appropriately Set the read permission on the page that you don't want limited users to have access to Use ng-if / ng-disabled to hide or disable components on your page that everyone has access too <span>Your username is '{{User.current.username}}'.</span> <div ng-if="User.current.hasPermission('superadmin')"> <span>Your user is an administrator.</span> </div> <div> <md-button class="md-raised" ng-disabled="!User.current.hasPermission('superadmin')">Go to other page</md-button> </div>
