    • RE: HS_ERR_PID###.log file

@craigweb I am running v3.5.4. Here is one of the log files:

      #
      # There is insufficient memory for the Java Runtime Environment to continue.
      # Native memory allocation (mmap) failed to map 419430400 bytes for committing reserved memory.
      # Possible reasons:
      # The system is out of physical RAM or swap space
      # In 32 bit mode, the process size limit was hit
      # Possible solutions:
      # Reduce memory load on the system
      # Increase physical memory or swap space
      # Check if swap backing store is full
      # Use 64 bit Java on a 64 bit OS
      # Decrease Java heap size (-Xmx/-Xms)
      # Decrease number of Java threads
      # Decrease Java thread stack sizes (-Xss)
      # Set larger code cache with -XX:ReservedCodeCacheSize=
      # This output file may be truncated or incomplete.
      #
      # Out of Memory Error (os_linux.cpp:2640), pid=303, tid=0xb6185460

    • HS_ERR_PID###.log file

      Hello,

On one of my MangoES that is installed into the customer site I'm getting a lot of the files named "hs_err_pid###.log". When I open them I see that is a memory issue.

Can somebody help me with this problem?

      Thanks.

    • The maxim number of users

      Hello,

I have a question, I've seen that the maxim recommended number of users for Mango is 10. But I want to know if this number refers to the actual number of users that are logged in into the web interface or if is the total number of users that are created.

I'm asking this because I need to create some users only to send emails to them and it is easier to manage the emails if there are some users.

      Thank you.

    • Difference between MangoES and MangoHTS

      Hello,

I have a question, what are the differences between MangoES and MangoHTS? In the specification for both models it is written that are a perfect choice for small to medium standalone or edge applications with less than 3000 data points and less than 10 users.

Why should pay the extra money for the HTS? It is more powerful than MangoES?

      Thank you.

    • RE: Pulling data to Mango via BACnet from another network

@cwangv Hi, I have searched on the forum and over the internet too about BBMD since this is a new thing for me... So, I have a question , I'm not sure that I get it right, do I need an extra device, a BBMD Router to be able to communicate with my PLC which is in another network?

      Thank you!

    • Pulling data to Mango via BACnet from another network

Hello, I have a question, I have a PLC which is in another network than my MangoES, can I access the points from the PLC with BACnet IP and create a data source in MangoES with the points from that PLC?

And if this is possible can someone give me some direction on how to do it?

      Thank you!

ok, now worked, I can use that path and my back-up was saved there.

Also I have a question, this feature of writing directly the location of the USB drive into the Backup Directory works only in V3? In V2.8 is it working or not?
