Graphical Views Ver 1.6.5
-
Hello,
I performed the upgrade this morning that changed the graphical views module to version 1.6.5We have lost all of our html graphics views that linked to the DGLux views we created.
I have tried to roll back to version 1.6.1, by putting the zip file in the web/modules folder and restarting the instance as instructed to by the install notes.
But now there is no graphical views module and the only option is to re-install the version 1.6.5 from the upgrade list.
I tried to recreate the views but the component to add list is empty and clicking the add button gives an error: "Error finding component with name :null"
Please tell me how to roll back to ver 1.6.1 properly.
Thank you
Brian

Hi Brian,
We are checking on this but haven't see any issues like this. Can you try clearing your browser's cache and refreshing just to be sure.
Thanks,

Hi Brian
Oof, sounds like a rough morning. I am curious what you mean 'lost'. There were graphical views which were iframes to DGLux and now those don't load, or they are entirely absent from the drop down of available views?
I encourage you to try clearing your browser cache if you've not done so, and reporting any errors existent in your browser's developer console. Your graphical views should also be stored safely in the JSON export in your Mango/backup folder, although background images are not backed up there.
You will not be able to roll back to 1.6.1 without rolling your core back to 2.6 or manually changing the core version it is for in the Graphical View's module.properties file, which may or may not create other problems. The core version is why it is not loading, probably, I suspect you installed the module correctly.

Hello Guys,
I have tried to use the graphics view module in both Firefox 44 and Chrome 49.At first I had the list of views but none would open. I then tried to roll back the install and that was when I lost all of the views. Losing the views is not a huge concern since they are still available through DGLux and I should be able to recreate the html view quite easily. Or so i thought.
When I tried to either edit one in the list or create a new one, the component list is empty and give the error I mentioned.
I have cleared the browser cache for both browsers as requested.
Here is a link to the screen shot from chrome:

I am sorry to sound grumpy but that is now 2 modules I can't use. is there a problem with my server version maybe? (Centos 6.7)

Hi Brain,
You can roll back your graphic views module by downloading it from here: http://store.infiniteautomation.com/module/graphicalViews
Place the zip file in your /web/modules folder and restart Mango.
We are still looking for the source of the issue but this should bring everything back.

Hi Brian,
This was caused by a developer created a dependency on 1.1.3 of the dashboards module. Since that is now in the store, they will work together, and provides the possibility to define angular components in the graphical views module.
