Please note that Serotonin has limited resources for completely testing various browser and platform combinations. The only browser that we can "officially support" is Firefox, which is what is nearly exclusively used for Mango development.

Let's say that other browsers like Safari are "unofficially supported", meaning that we are happy to hear reports of ways in which they do not work, but cannot guarantee that any such problems will be fixed promptly, if at all.

To answer your initial question, yes, this functionality can be added to Mango. Depending on your exact needs, there are a few of ways this can be done: 1) extend the HTTP publisher or create a new publisher, 2) use a data source that can act as a peer in a network (like BACnet), or 3) create specific functionality for inter-Mango communication.

As i say, the correct solution depends on what specifically you need to do. Quotes and time lines can be provided once the details have been worked through.

Doesn't matter much. Anyone that can get to the page can just view the source and see the password. Otherwise, you're just balancing the threat of someone looking over your shoulder with the nuisance of not being able to see what you're doing.

@Ricardo there is some information here as to how to use iptables. I suggest you familiarize yourself with how they work as they are useful to redirect port I/O between privileged ports and non-privileged ports.

To a degree. You can modify the templates, but you only have access to whatever information is in the context model, which is pretty much what is already in the email.
