    • RE: MangoEs or TRUNK which one?

Got it. Is there a cheaper version i can play with? I'm in the testing and learning phase so the price for the ES model is a bit steep for me.

Is there a tutorial to connect to things around the house like NEST and BELKIN lights?

thank you for you replies and support.

    • MangoEs or TRUNK which one?

is there a trunk that is used to pull data or talks to other then communicates to the front end ( computer).

is the MANGO ES the same as a truck or could I pull data point off a lan ip address?

Reading the Mango ES literature states its a computer and connection in one.

I would like to start with a couple of points, like temperature and air pressure.

      Thanks,

    • RE: Localhost or 120.0.0.1

OK. I found what you are talking about. I was reading some Mac lingo on how to start it but i am not able to push passes the password part. Nothing out on the web really makes it easy for me to incorporate in the TERMINAL.
Here is what it said when I run the script.

      *****'adrians-Mac-mini:~ APV$ /Users/APV/Downloads/MangoAutomation\ /bin/ma.sh start
      MA_HOME is /Users/APV/Downloads/MangoAutomation
      adrians-Mac-mini:~ APV$ /Users/APV/Downloads/MangoAutomation /bin/ma-start.sh: line 93: /Users/APV/Downloads/MangoAutomation /logs/ma-script.log: Permission denied
      /Users/APV/Downloads/MangoAutomation /bin/ma-start.sh: line 100: /Users/APV/Downloads/MangoAutomation /logs/ma-script.log: Permission denied
ma-start: MA started with Process ID: 8990
      log4j:ERROR setFile(null,true) call failed.

Is there a way to write a code under the MA-START.SH to automatically enter the password for me each time I need to restart the script. ( Just in case) ?

Again, i don't know much about the MAC world, but i am trying.

      Thanks for your help.

    • Mambo vr. Siemens or Tridian

      Hello Mambo,

First off this is awesome that I am able to work with the program, great work on putting this together.

I was reading many posts and they say this program once used to be residential type automation but you guys are heading towards the commercial road.

Now that I am here I hope to be of assistance and get help as well.

Now that I am here, Here is my questions. How is Mambo compared to Siemens and Tridian?

Are you guys looking towards the future and making this as competitive as the other brands I just mentioned?

      Thank you,
