Hi Sorry i will try to explain a little better,
I can read standard OID's no problem.
some of the data i am trying to read is in a table as :UpsOutputEntry ::=
SEQUENCE {
upsOutputLineIndex INTEGER,
upsOutputVoltage INTEGER,
upsOutputCurrent INTEGER,
upsOutputPercentLoad INTEGER
}I need to read voltage and current but cannot find a way to do this
I think i need to send a SET command before the GET but don't
know how.
I hope this makes a little more sense.Best regards
Neil

Have you tried using a tool like MIBBrowser to convert the textual OID into numeric?
-
Hi yes i have converted the OID the following will read OK
Name/OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.4555.1.1.1.1.4.2.0
The following ( from a table) wont
Name/OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.4555.1.1.1.1.4.4.1.2.1
If i could use the GETNEXT Command i think it would work.
or could i change the code to change the command ?
if so where does Mango interface with SNMP4J ?any workaround appreciated, i just need to get these values the other 12
i am picking up no problems the same for the modbus.Best regards
