Temco modbus binary
-
I recently purchased a Tstat5 to try out with Mango M2M software.
http://www.temcocontrols.com/product.php?ProductID=17&CategoryID=7
I have enjoyed much success with the thermostat with the exception of setting binary modbus registers (eg. 184/0).
Reading and setting of analog registers works as expected. Reading of binary registers appears to work.I have have experimented with the “Use multiple write commands only” setting with no apparent effect.
In Mango M2M, if I change 137 to 4, 184/0 changes from 0 to 1.
Mango cannot write to 184/0 (or I have something configured wrong).
The same is true with register 310.
Do you have any suggestions?
Have other customers had success with this product? -
I have used lots of them but always with the control core firmware loaded on them from Isquared Software.: http://isquared.ca/English/Products_CC.htm

Im currently trying to do something similar with a Tstat5e. Isquared software is loaded on there and things are ok. Problem is just polling the registers in Mango. It works in CATNET, but not with Mango...its very confusing.
Any suggestions? Anyone?

I'm using the Tstat5E with the Temco firmware and after changing the address to 101 on the keypad it connected.
