          Some notes:

          • that library is Windows only (a constraint for the Mango server, not for users' browsers)
          • we have no OPC equipment with which to test the development of a data source
          • development of this would need to be funded

          Best regards,
          Matthew

UtgardProject is pure java OPC client.
Seems like there are tons of free OPC servers out there they can use databases as a source for data or pretty much anything else under the sun. I'm not a huge OPC fan cause it seems like most OPC servers are windows based and I'm a linux guy. But for Mango it seems like a good way to go to get mango to support pretty much all hardware out there.
Just an idea not looking for anything personally.

UtgardProject is GPL, so it could only (legally) be included in OpenMango, not the commercial version.

i've avoided OPC because the servers seemed to be always windows only as well.
