We needed to set up a very simple GUI for a customer, so we put the dashboard pages at root level. This was to show only the page itself when logged on without the side bar. It seems that that is the problem with choosing the date range of the watch list charts. I can only set the range using the dateBar in Dashboard designer, but not in the page view as the customer. The dragging to see smaller range is buggy on phones.

Is there a way to add selectable date range in the page itself? or any other way to get rid of the side bar without putting the pages on root level?

Have you made sure that the date and rollup has been ticked in your "edit menu item" window for that GUI. 0_1522246227801_Screen Shot 2018-03-28 at 16.09.55.png
Secondly I had a similar problem where I had 7 identical pages displaying different watchlists. Some and the date and roll up and some didn't in the top right corner. All of the pages had data and rollup ticked in the menu. Spent some time figuring out what was different between the pages settings and couldn't find anything. Then I previewed a page on the "edit pages" tab and suddenly that page had the date and rollup. I tested it with another 3 pages and by previewing the page it solved my problem each time. See if it works for you...Maybe someone from MA can explain why.

@craigweb Thanks for such a quick response.
They are checked for Date and rollup, and tried the preview on edit pages with no luck.
I'm beginning to think that I'm going to have to put it back under UI and not root level to bring back the blue bar up top.

ye sorry I tested it myself. I haven't used root level before and didn't realise that the header bar disappeared. In the Mango help section they talk about a date bar that over rides the header bar, date bar. But I cannot find it in the dashboard designer components. Using that might be your option then just set your watchlist to look at that date bar. Or take it back to the UI tab and just limit your user to only that page.

Brought them out of root level and now everything is great. Have some buttons assigned to specific date ranges on the page itself. Now if there's a way to hide the top blue bar, it will be perfect.
