    • Is that possible to add user phone to Mango from LDAP server?

      Hi All,

I would like to get phone numbers to Mango via LDAP server. Phone numbers are defined on the LDAP server.

To add email address of the user to Mango, as I see, I should add attributes mapping to env.properties as shown below .
Is that possible to add user phone to Mango from LDAP server?

#Attributes for mapping to Mango users
          ldap.authentication.passwordAttribute=userPassword
          ldap.authentication.nameAttribute=cn
          ldap.authentication.emailAttribute=mail

      Thanks in advance,

    • How can I define a permission to a new role to view all global scripts?

      Hi All,

How can I define a permission to a new role to view all global scripts?

I defined all system permissions to the new role. The new role can view ui/administration/global-scripts/, but global scripts created in Mango does not seen.

I would like to have a new role that has all superadmin permissions. What should I do to give all superadmin authorization to new role?

    • Persistent TCP publisher Sync Problem for delete action

      Hi All,

I made Persistent TCP datasource and publisher connections. When I edit tag value of published point on publisher side, datasource side is updated immediately. But when I delete tag of published point on publisher side, datasource side is not updated. I still see deleted tags on datasource side.

      What could be the reason?

    • There is no TCP Keep Alive Packages on Wireshark

      Hi All,

I have chosen TCP Keep-Alive transport type on the Modbus Data Source and connected to device.

When I track the network packages, I do not see "TCP Keep Alive" packet on wireshark. Even if I enabled and disabled the Data Source for many times during tracking, I could not see the TCP Keep Alive packets.

So, I would like to be sure that my Mango Instance (v3.7.7) is sending TCP Keep Alive packages.

Is there any suggestion how to test it?
Is that a bug at v37.7.?

      Thanks in advance,

    • "No response from slave ..." errors before MySQL backup starts

      Hi All,

We are getting a modbus "No response from slave ..." errors from most of our Modbus slaves average 4-5 minutes before every MySQL backup start.

What happens in our system in order of time are as follows.

We configured to backup MySQL everyday at 19.10 PM.
"No response from slave ..." errors start everyday around 19.05~ and ends around 19:12 PM
The backup file is created within an average of 6 minutes every day after the backup starts. That means, backup is finished around at 19:16 PM.

Is there any pre-tasks of MySQL backup that would trigger modbus errors?
Any idea what could be the reason?

      Thanks in advance!

      Hi All,

We changed "Log on as" option of MangoAutomation service. At first, "Log on as" option was Local System account, we changed with another account. Then, restarted Mango and Mango GUID has changed.

Is that normal that changing GUID automatically when we change service log on option?

    • Mango v4.0.0.beta7 LDAP and HTTPS do not work together

      Hello Radixiot Team,

We have 2 different Mango v4.beta7 instance and ldap server on the same network. First instance is working properly with ldap configuration (ldap configuration is as below.) On the second instance, we perform the same ldap configuration and added a ssl certification to open Mango on https. Although, Https works fine with domain address (https://metst.tull.entp.tgc:8443/ui/administration/home) and we can connect to ldap server via Softerra LDAP browser at the second instance, we can not login with LDAP users.

So, what could be the possible reason for that? Is it because of https connection or domain address?

    • RE: Can not login after activating sessionCookie.secure=true

      Hi @MattFox ,

You mean that in order to add secure flag to session first we should configure ssl settings on env.properties file? Then activate sessionCookie.secure=true.

      Am I right?

      Thanks,

    • OPC Datasource deletes "\" after Import csv

      Hi All,

I have been trying to import csv to OPC datasource. Csv includes OPC tags like "c1.Temp\kmp\A\phsA". Although I do not get any error during import, Mango deletes " \ " character at the point's OPC tags.

How can I fix csv import problem?
I will have more than 10.000 OPC points.

      Thanks in advance

    • Can not login after activating sessionCookie.secure=true

      Hi all,

I have uncommented sessionCookie.secure=true on env.propertites file and restarted Mango v4.0.0.beta5. Then, when I try to login, my credentials does not accepted and get an error "Login failed — Bad credentials".

What could be the possible cause for that?

I that enough to just activate sessionCookie.secure=true, in order to add secure flag to session?

      Thanks in advance!
