As we are clearly unsuccesful to upgrade to 2,7 versions ,we are at the proccess to upgrade to the latest 2.8.4. (i remind you that we are at 2.6 version)
Is this possible ?
Also do we have to delete tables from our MySQL schema or you have implemented to the latest version the solution to the problems that we encounter. You have advise us to drop some tables in the prvious atempts.

We are at 2.6.0 now, after the upgrade we lost the page with users.
System said that we are missing the mango api module but even after intalled it we cannot access our defined users. Page is blank
At version 2.5.2 this was ok.

P.S : we did a clean install of 2.7.12 in another machine just to test and also the same thing happened there. What we are missing here!

well we settle for now at 2.6.0 version ( well its a start!) and we are going to try to upgrade to 2.7.12 next week..
No luck from 2.5.2 to 2.7.12 it is impossible with our setup. Numerous errors in MySQL as you predicted.
We also had many errors in 2.6.0 from a free bacnet datasource, that we deleted and after that 2.6 is working.

Well after each unsuccessful upgrade attempt we always perform a clean install of mango, (we delete everything and copy from another location). We also restore from a database SQL dump that is exported before doing anything.
You send us much information and work for tomorrow. We will keep you informed.
And also we have another question.
Why we need the new scripts, its seems that the old ma-start is doing the same thing.
In all the other cases we used the new scripts and the did the same thing.

The new script is not running at all!
we used the old script (ma-start) and it stopped at the upgrade 10 we did the commands and then again stops with an error.

Well the upgrade is not going well either.
We did all the things that you send us and we had no luck at all i would say.
We attached a newer log to see.
We would like here to review the upgrade procedure that we did.
After shutdown mango and backup etc etc we did the following:
-delete lib directory
-verify that env properties file is at MA_HOME/overrides/properties directory
-We input all the commands you send us to the MySQL command line prompt (response is attached)
-unzip and copy all files of core 2.7.12 to MA_HOME and also place zip modules at web/modules directory
-replace the ma_start.bat and copy upgrade.bat withh the newer vesrion from your site to MA_HOME/bin
The rest is at the logs..

It it possible to uprade a module to its latest version without upgarding the core?
Lets say we want to upgrade snmp module to 1.5.2 version and we have core version 2.5.2

We are trying to update our mango server from 2.5.2 to 2.7.12. Until now we are unssuccesful either with the manual update proccdure either with the "auto upgrade" from within mango enviroment.
Can you please give us some help. We are attaching log file and a screenshot with the error that occured.

Well you have to disable the datasource in order to see the devices now, but when you press the arrow in the right to begin details for a specific device it says error for 1(20) (the device MAC)

well i am trying to speak with an alerton eth controller that has 8 vlx controllers .
With a bacnet browser Itimeconnector) i see everything ok.
When i am using mango bacnet datasource i have the following problem:
At first mango is 10.18.241.254
alerton eth is 10.18.241.250
in the bacnet datasource i am using as local bind address the 10.18.241.254 (mango ip)
broadcast 10.18.241.255. Then save start and then press whois in the bacnet discovery and the message that i am receiving is "Address already in use: Cannot bind"
In netstat is mango binds 0.0.0.0 for the 47808 and also the 10.18.241.254 udp both at the same time
In contrast timeconnect binds correctly the address to the port , and the netstat provides that 10.18.241.254:47808.
Well in wireshark mango sends correctly the i am and whois but in the datasource nothing happens. if you press whois you always have the "Address already in use: Cannot bind"
Could someone provide some help.

A pc is accesing the server through proxy but every 5 minutes the page times out. We found that is a proxy problem. When we exclude the ip of the server from the proxy (direct access to server) the timeout stops , but then the login page of mango cannot check the browser compatibility (no proxy no internet) and if we login, mango does not work well. No graphics on graphics view, no dropdown menus etc.
Can we disable the check and if we can, will this resolve the problem , or mango needs the pc to have internet to work.
