      Looks like you and I are trying to do the same thing.

      It seems that your simply looking to poll modbus registers, and write them.

      Here's what I found.

      There are two types of groups.

      Group one are experts at doing just this.
      Group two are experts at taking the data and putting it on a slick graph.

      I spent 6 months on this same project last year, only to get frustrated and quit.

      I think we should collaborate.

    • Need a Modbus polling program using Modbus4J

      We need a GLG API libary that is either "Java Servlet for JSP and JavaEE" or "Java Class Library for standalone or web deployment".

      We simply want to poll 12 modbus registers for daq. From there our GLG Real-Time chart will display our results.

      The polling will be RS-485.

      From everything I've read, Modbus4J is the answer.

      Anybody have something like this already made??
