      Dear all,
It 'the first time I program in Android, so I'm no expert.
I use Android Studio, and I would use the modbus4j library to communicate in Modbus RTU Master with a tablet (Android) through the USB port, ie serial 9600 baud.
(The tablet would be the Modbus RTU Master)
I would like to read and write Holding register, coils and register input.
There 's someone who can help me configure the project, so give me a start?
      Thanks in advance.

Looks like you and I are trying to do the same thing.

It seems that your simply looking to poll modbus registers, and write them.

        Here's what I found.

There are two types of groups.

Group one are experts at doing just this.
Group two are experts at taking the data and putting it on a slick graph.

I spent 6 months on this same project last year, only to get frustrated and quit.

        I think we should collaborate.

        Drop me an email response.

        Thanks.

        Greg
