      Hi,

I have an mqtt data source with a number of data points. When creating the data points I selected the correct unit, but I cannot see this in the dashboard designer.

      Greetings Mark

@Mark Ok if you want t show units in your dashboards, you need to display the renderedValue
To do this, add to all of your ma-point-value components:

display-type="rendered" alternatively, replace rendered with converted

That will throw the units designated to each point after the value - if not, we can change our approach using ma-point-values

Do not follow where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path.

@MattFox said in Dashboard designer show units:

That will throw the units designated to each point after the value

Unfortunately, both options have no effect and the unit is not displayed behind the presented value.

With rendered nothing changed and witch converted the value become integer.
Is it not possible to add the unit as text?

@Mark you can, just wrap in <span> tags, there are other ways, but depends how technical you want to be
