cannot load database
-
Yes even putty cant get in. Connection refused
-
Assuming you're running a windows box, let's see if it's even on the network.
Get yourself angry ip scanner or similar to scan the network.
If there's nothing, I wonder if your network card gave up the ghost... -
I have the advanced IP scanner, and the MangoES is available. Only it refuses to accept any connection. Also before i could access the network foler of Mango, But now its invisible and there is nothing showing up in the network.
-
Sounds like a power cycle is in order. Give it a good ol' hard reset. It's an old unit so I wouldn't rule out hardware failing. I've had a few V2's die on me, and one of the traits they shared before dying completely was the networking part of the system calling it a day.
-
Just switching off the power for long time and switch it back on?
-
@jay1089 Yep, count to 30 then fire it back up, perhaps monitor the LED's on the case - I assume here it's similar to a V2 with an aluminium cast case with 4 LEDs on the front.
-
Yes four LED up front. One green and other blinks when network connected. Other two doesn't lit up at all
-
Good, the blinking is the heartbeat for Mango, it should be starting then. Check your network again and let's see if the SSH is available.
https://help.infiniteautomation.com/mangoes-connections?rq=v2 -
Connection refused still after power cycle. In the LAN connection, The green LEd blinks whereas the orange stays lit all the time.
-
Sounds like something is causing an issue or error of some sort, I thought you meant 2 of the four leds, not the lan socket. .
Phil are the display ports on these old boards functioning? I know I had one on the old board, but never had a chance to check myself. It's just a last ditch idea I had.
Sorry that's all I've got... -
Display port works. But the problem is it cant complete the boot. It is booting for so long
-
Somehow managed to revert back. Now webmin is working and back to the old issue. Database stuck at 40%. And in command shell, i cant execute bin/ma.sh start. it says permission denied.
-
Nice!
trysudo /opt/mango/bin/ma.sh start
Let's see what you get!
-
sudo /opt/mango/bin/ma.sh start
MA_HOME is /opt/mango
/opt/mango/bin/ma-init.sh: line 29: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `"'
/opt/mango/bin/ma-init.sh: line 34: syntax error: unexpected end of file

That still looks like the H2 database is corrupt and needs to be restored from a backup, as I linked in my first response.
I'm not sure why you'd have problems executing the shell scripts. Probably part of that has to do with running Mango 2.5 instead of at least 2.8, as i already mentioned. You can download the 2.8 core from https://store.infiniteautomation.com/core
You could still try moving your Mango/databases/ directory while Mango is not running, so that it starts on a new database. That would also get past the corruption in the H2 database.

Finally deleted the old databse. what is the default user id password for login?
-
Got the default password. and thanks Phil and Mattfox for supporting. I am bad in linux, but it was a good learning.
-
I am unable to add new Data Sources. There is no drop down list and even the ADD button doesn't work. I had installed some modbus module and some other module. Is there any other modules need to be installed for the data sources to work properly?
