How to get data from a plc, to mango. no modbus protocol
-
I'm able to write somekind of driver in python for the directnet protocol used by koyo plc's and another for keyence plc's... those work by rs232 only.
Now the question is , how to get the data into mango to display it? -
Use the Http Receiver or code the driver in java

but i can't find any documentation about the api of mango in the mango.tar.gz
or some simple working examples which communicate by rs232, then i can modify it and post it here. it can be useful because there are many small plc's with rs232 but without man machine interface -
Jazz,
Mango documentation is contextual within the application. Install and start, and you will see the "?" icons all over.
