Grafana Plugin

Have you guys considered making a Grafana plugin?
Seems like a like of your work on the dashboards could be alleviated by supporting yourselves with another foss system.
It may not meet the needs of everyone, but for us I think it could do everything we need, for example.
Thoughts?

Its something I have looked at personally and started playing with - https://github.com/jazdw/mango-datasource (its not a finished plugin, please dont try and use it)
Its not something we at IAS are currently focused on or working on however.
