      Guys I have a string point from a plc (p329)and am trying to use a meta point to set the
      variable to (1035399) when the (p329) is (3S1) but it always gives me bad????? What am I doing wrong?

      var my;

      if (p329.Value == "3S1")

      my ="1035399";

      else

      my ="BAD";

      return my ;

        Its hard to tell from you post, try and use the code formatting option which provides a better font when you post code. First create a newline, then prefix each code line with 4 spaces or a tab like this:

        var my;
        if (p329.Value == "3S1")
           my ="1035399";
        else
           my ="BAD";
        return my ;

        From the looks of it you are using a capital V on value

        my.Value

        instead of

        my.value

        where in Javascript case is important.
