      Hi,

      i recently upgraded to V2.6
      My mango is become slower.
The pc that is running mango has most of the 100% processor time in use.
when i look at the program that is using the most processor time it is java.

The new functions of 2.6 are realy nice but i dont think i wil use them.

      any tips to downgrade ?

There are several performance improvements in 2.6 so it should be faster so something else is wrong with your system. You can take a screenshot of the Internal Metrics page. There are some new metrics there that are useful to know. Also you can look at your log files for issues.

There is no way to downgrade. You just need to load up Mango 2.5 on a backup of your database. You can check in your backups folder and there should be database backups you can use.

downgraded to 2.5.2 is starts much faster, runs smoother.
Ill think my hardware is not capable of v2.6

ill keep it 2.5.2 for now.

Maybe you only had 185 mb of ram for Mango which is super low.

The 2.6 version needs more RAM ?
dont know if that is possible on that laptop, i will investigate

No 2.6 should not need any significant amount of more ram but in general the ram you have is very very low for any Mango installation.

                    it runs fine.

on that laptop is is also running sunny data control for the sma inverter and aurora communicator for the ABB pvi-2000 inverter.
Both aplications ar communicating with their inverter, i just read out the logfile and publish that on my graphical screen.
Mango also comunicate with a string of one wire devices.

i am thinking of adding RAM and upgrade to a ssd.
or replace the old amilio laptop for a dell e5500 laptop. i have to check how power hungry the dell is.
