485 Port

I cannot get the 485 port to work, nor any other converter I plug into the USB port. Always get "there was a problem testing the locator.(comserotonin.is.serialPortException: Port In Use: /dev/ttyACM99 - it is not uses by any other data source....
If I plug a USB to 485 converting into the USB port it gives me the same error.

You need to first disable any data source that is using the com port including the one you are using the rest tools on. Let me know if that solves it. Thanks.

yes that was it. on the ES the ttyUSB0 is the 485 port, what would the ttyACM99 be?

There is an internal Uart that is currently not being used for anything. We have a new version of the MangoES under development that will have the same USB RS-485 but will also take different expansion cards that can use the internal Uart and also provide some onboard IO.
