How to change extreme values in the history database
-
Hi Everyone,
I have some unwanted extreme values in some of my points history databases. Do any of you know what the best way would be to go about changing a value in the history with a specific ts?
Regards,
Alex -
Hey Alex,
You can download a Excel file on either the Watch List or the Point Details page. There is a column that you can mark the value to be deleted. So you could write a formula to populate this column or mark it manually. You then import the file on the Data Import page and the document will be processed. See the help popup on the Data Import module for more information.

Hey Joel,
You see I face a slight challenge here. I'm using the DGBox with Mango... so when you say down load the excel file - I can go to the points History and download the data, when i open the file there is no column to delete any value? not sure if this is what you mean. I have the Data Import page but not help popup :(
any other explanation that might clear things up for me would be great.

Hi Alex,
The DGBox uses a derivative of Mango so doesn't have all the same features. You'll need to contact DGLogik for DGBox related support.
Thanks,
Joel. -
FYI
The format is the same as for normal Mango
Time,XID
yyyy/mm/dd hh/mm/ss,valuehave not figured out how to delete a value though...

I don't think the DGBox has this feature.

You mean the delete feature? - does not seem like it.

Right.
