we've installed mango & dglux dashboard on a pc with network support
      under ubuntu 12.04 LTS system
we r sure we can access the network folder smb://nas14/public/oscar on ubuntu windows interface, read & write ok
can i backup configuration settings to a network folder?

      I've set that to smb://nas14/public/oscar
but it says 'Backup location does not exist'
what should i type there to let it save configuration settings to a network folder?

In order to backup to a network folder you must first mount the folder locally. Protocol prefixes are not allowed for the backup directory. Review the linux mount command's man page.
