SQL Data Source - Is it possible to include a Data Point value in a query?
-
Hi
I'm running mango 3.5.6
I am creating a set of queries for SQL Data Sources. I'd like to know if it's possible to include the value of a data point in the query. The concept is like a parameterised query. eg use the value of a data point in a where clause - like "Select "First_name from Employees where empno = [DataPointx.value]".

Any ideas?

You cannot do this on the query but you could do it on the update statement for the point. The setting of the SQL data point's value could be done via a Meta or Scripting data source. The help docs on the data source should get you going.
