      Hello,

      I am using Mango v 2.8.8
I am trying to use the Modbus IP Module on Mango. With another a modbus scanning tool, I can confirm I have the correct IP, Port #, Slave ID and Register #.

However on Mango, when I try to scan for nodes I am getting no results, it seems to be stuck scanning. I also get the error Illegal data address when trying to read the modbus directly.

Try starting at 1280 and try reading less than 100 registers. Illegal data address is an error returned from the Modbus Slave saying you are trying to read a register that you are not allowed to read.

Hey Joel! Yup, that was it. I was trying to read the wrong register. Thank you!
