      Hi,

Audio alarms seems not working in the Events page in the new UI. Events are logging correctly but there is no audio when urgent or critical alarms appears. I have checked in the backend UI and it is working perfectly.

What could be the problem? Appreciate your support.

@joeselbiyoyo said in Audio or alarm sound not working in the Events page.:

This is probably the issue. Upgrade to the latest version of Mango. We only added the ability for the new UI to play event/alarm sounds in Mango 3.2.5 from the looks of it.

Other things to check in case you are running the latest version already -

        • Check the user is not muted (user page)
        • Check that the alarm level you are testing has an audio file set on the UI settings page - /ui/administration/ui-settings

Hi Jared. Thank you for your response.
Can you share with me the steps on how to upgrade from 3.0 to 3.2.5?

            Hi @joeselbiyoyo

If you got to administration --->> modules ----> check for upgrades.
This will give you a table of all your modules that are not up to date.
you can select all and click upgrade.

@joeselbiyoyo Please ensure that you read the release notes for all the modules you upgrade. Especially the core and UI modules.

                Hi,

Sorry the mango server does not have an internet. So it will likely be an offline upgrade.

Appreciate if you can let me know the steps to do an offline upgrade.

                  Hi

There are instructions on how to do a manual upgrade on the help site scroll to the bottom of the page: https://help.infiniteautomation.com/how-to-upgrade-mango/

Remember to make a backup of your entire mango folder so that you have a fallback.
