suddenly i have download seroUtils.jar and modbus4J.jar files and include it into netbeans. So please suggest me some methods to send data to slave and receive data from slave through rs232 cable . In my program i have set serial parameters. But i dont know how to send data and receive command from slave device.

Please suggest me some methods or tutorial for serial programming in modbus4j.

hi...
i have developed one application in java which communicate with hardware through rs232.I have used rxtx package for communication,my problem is that when i attached rs232 cable to COM port directly then it communicate accurately and if i used usb to rs232 converter then program does not read whole response bytes at a time
it reads few bytes and after few bytes so its difficult to perform operation's accurately. I have used timer concept for send command and receive response repeatedly after 200ms.

please help me really i am struggling for this.
