    • RE: Best workflow practices for editing Mango dashboards?

Glad you found a solution Dave! I can't imagine having to develop in nano all day.

Another good option for Windows is Notepad++. If you already have a favorite editor but it doesn't support SFTP then you can use FileZilla for transferring. FileZilla can be setup so that when you change a file mirrored on your local machine it will automatically prompt you to transfer it up to the server.

On Macs my favorite is the Coda2 app.

There are lots of solutions out there. Any editor that supports SFTP will do the trick.

Yeah, that is strange. Can you right click and inspect your html? Post that here so we can get a look at it.

      Thanks,

      Hello Chris,

Here you can find the answer to many general Angular questions. Hint, check out the 4th example on the page of the link I have attached.

There are many great Angular tutorials on the web, just Google and find the ones you like best.

      Hi Dave,

I think if you go to our help site http://help.infiniteautomation.com/support/home and search for "JVM memory" you will find the information you need. If not, let us know and we will track it down.

      Thanks,

      Hey Dave,

Are you using rollups or are you getting every datapoint for that time period?

Try using 5 or 15 minute rollups to see if that improves you situation.

      Thanks,

    • RE: No Charts Displayed

      Hi Pikey,

Are these charts on Mango pages like the Point Details page, Watch List page or do you have a custom dashboard with charts? Does the page have other components that do load ok but just the charts don't load?

If you are using Chrome it would be good if you fire up Developer Tools and see if you see any error in the console. Here's an overview for Chrome Developer Tools that is helpful https://developer.chrome.com/devtools

Great! I would suggest continue exploring the Excel Reports and if you hit a wall and have specific questions, post them here. As for a dashboard I would suggest our new Angular way of creating custom dashboards. Joel has nice intro here.

    • RE: Metadata Script execution when?

I believe that article was copied right out of Mango help and pasted into support documentation. We are working to improve our documentation so thanks for pointing this out. You can see this help topic in its entirety in Mango. Click on the little blue ? icon in Mango in the
0_1468503886116_upload-a357b4ff-70f0-404a-9af7-ded5bda60e4e of your Metadata data source.

Metadata scripts execute either on context update or on a cron pattern. This is set here 0_1468504147120_upload-0714d747-164a-4aec-950a-5af422fa6d3d
If you use context update then you may select which data points trigger the script. 0_1468504392873_upload-c5e40203-28dc-468d-8ed1-16e18a8dedb3

Note: It's usually best to not select all of them as this can cause the script to execute too often and cause a performance problem. With power come responsibility :-)

    • RE: Alarm on limits breached. Is this possible?

      Hello Dave,

If I understand your question correctly, the answer is yes. First you would create event detectors in the datapoint. For example
      0_1468500065933_upload-75d902f0-7015-4cb3-b290-d2d2582e7ad6

      0_1468500187259_upload-e7a0efa0-b8a4-4cb0-9bef-fc0c22b8b89f
Next I would create a mailing list but you don't have to use one. You can just tie the event to a user's email if you wish.

Last step, Goto the Event Handlers Page and find your event
      0_1468500401335_upload-eab27d20-73f5-4870-af3c-362315190086

      Now, add the email recipients
