      hi, i've found various java implementations for this... but unsure about licensing issues... could such a datasource be implemented into mango?

        There doesn't appear to be a technical reason why not. But, obviously, it would only work on Windows.

            From what i read DDE is meant for communication between Windows applications running on Windows platforms. And JDDE includes a DDL as the JNI component, which naturally is for Windows.
