Hi I've been meaning to add this for a while,
Unless there is a value present, you cannot actually set a value or view statistics etc.
This is rather annoying when a point is made for a serial/tcp connection in which you want to send a command out but cannot because the point does not hold a value in the watchlist. Can do it from the original watchlist with no problems. The mangoUI version however, you cannot.

        Hi Fox,

This was a known issue, but thanks for bumping it! I created a git issue for this, https://github.com/infiniteautomation/ma-dashboards/issues/161

Thanks Phil, I hacked up the current watchlist code from source and did my own in the meantime to get around the issue. Also enabled me to change how the timestamp is displayed too.

I also noticed a nodeJS version of the UI. Any idea when that might be ready to work from? Would enable me to separate mango from the dashboard server wise.
