Data Base Backup
-
Hello, I have a question about data points backup. The default backup folder is /opt/mango/backup/, but if I want to backup somewhere else, on another server or on google drive for example, it is possible to be made automatically, or I need to copy manually the files from time to time?
I am asking this because I don't want to lose, or better I want to be able to restore points values in case if something destroy mango and I'm not able to recover anything from it.

Hi George,
Each type of backup - configuration, database, and no sql - allows you to configure the backup directory on the system settings page. If you have a client like google drive or dropbox and that means a mapped drive on the computer, then you can configure these paths to that location and it will automatically do what it does.
If you don't have a client like that, you would either have to manually copy them, set up a cron job to do the copying, or use a client like IDrive or rsync or a cron. The MangoES likely already has an /opt/IDrive/ directory that you could configure if you had an IDrive account.
