      Hello,

I'm using mango automation to read bacnet/IP data source. In this particular data source (A Fire detection System) i'm receiving the following message and I can't get any info about it:

com.serotonin.bacnet4j.type.constructed.BACnetError cannot be cast to com.serotonin.bacnet4j.type.constructed.ServicesSupported

      Attached is a print scren.

Previously with my old computer and in another network the system worked but now i only get this message.

Any help or tip will be appreciated.

      Thank you in advance,
      André Neves

Hello aneves, welcome to the forum!

I would check your log file to see if it printed a stack trace to the log file Mango/logs/ma.log or to the logging console /logging_console.shtm when it occurs. I was only able to see one way I could understand this happening, and it seems unlikely (device responded with an error to the request for its supported services). Restarting Mango may clear it up (this property is discovered at runtime of discovery is not known, so maybe it was a one time issue?), but a stack trace would be helpful.

          Hi,

Thank you for the fast reply. I don't have any ma.log the only logs I have are the following and they are empty:

          • com.serotonin.m2m2.rt.maint.work.DatabaseBackupWorkItem.log
          • createTables.log

I can read other equipments, this is the only I can't.

          Thank you,
          André Neves

Any chance you're on Windows? Check Mango/bin/logs/ma.log

Looks like there's nothing there. I'll send you an email.
