Reboot - Event Notifications - Feature/Fix? Request

When rebooting the Mango instance, all of the Event Notifications trigger and we get a flood of emails.
I think it would be nice if the reboot created a temporary stop for the Event Notifications, until the instance is back up again.

Any response? Yes/No/Maybe?
PS: I know that this might be troublesome for the Mango Startup / Shutdown notifications.
