Jared; Is there a way to write out data points straight into a excel form that is all ready set up (not a report)? Would want to do the write all at one time from a button or close event?

You can setup a report and run it on demand rather than scheduling it. The other option is to use the REST API to download a CSV of the point values, but you cannot supply an Excel template. To get CSV from the point value REST endpoints set the Accept header to text/csv.

PS. Can you start a new thread in the future.
