Modbus - Delay between polls

Hello all!
I'm facing a problem with a modbus device. I'm reading about 20 registers of this device every 5 seconds. The problem is that I don't have any option in Mango to configure the delay between polls and this device does not respond well with multiple requests with no delay between them. A lot of timeouts has been generated.
So, one thing that I consider too much important is to add an option to configure "Delay Between Polls" on every Modbus device. This is a must be for any SCADA software.
Is it possible to work on that on next versions of Mango? Thanks a lot!
