Monitoring bursts

Dear,

I've an embedded device that will upload monitored data in burst, i.e. several (measured value, point in time) couples are submitted at once. I'm in control of the embedded device, so I can choose the protocol used by the embedded device.

Which data source do you advice or is it best to roll my own?

Assuming you already has a tcp stack to upload your data you could use HTTP protocol.
Using a GPRS module your device should be able to start a request to connect to Mango's server, wich will be listening on a port configured in the http receiver datasource.

I probably have to add time information to the uploaded data as the time of measurement is unrelated to the time of submission to mango?

Do you need real timestamp from device than delivery timestamp? It is this example.

HTTP request from device with id unit1 :```
