Unknown runtime error in Graphical View editor
-
After placing a component into a graphical view and clicking on the computer monitor icon to edit the graphical renderer, I get a "Unknown runtime error" dialog from the browser, and I'm unable to edit the renderer. I'm running Mango 1.9.0, Tomcat 6.0.20, and IE7.
-
Just use Mozila Firefox 3.6
-
I get the "Unknown runtime error" when editing the graphical renderer, mango 1.9.0, Tomcat 6.0.20, IE8, everything else in Mango is sweet.

Is there any output in the Tomcat console?
-
Also, IE8 works for me. Is there any specific thing that reliably recreates the issue?

Here is the output in the tomcat console after trying the, edit graphic renderer

Check this out: http://www.gljakal.com/blog/2006/02/19/unknown-runtime-error-in-internet-explorer/. Can you describe the components that are in your view?
-
I have the default Mango Graphical View Page, with a background image. It is when I mouse click on the "graphical rendering of a component" button, the runtime error pops up - see image, have found a work around :D as ftomiBR said just use firefox to do the edit it then can be viewed in IE8.
Also did a fresh install on another PC and get the same runtime error, IE8 is just being fussy.Solved for now

Ok. Thanks for the description. I was able to recreate it fairly easily. I'll look into a fix.

I have a fix. It will be in the next release.
