Update failes

Hi,
we have a MangoES wich is running with core 3.1.1+20170620163725.
Now I wanna make an update but it failed with that message:
"your instance cannot move to the new major version: modules dashboard 3.6.1 is not compatible with core 3.5.6"How can I solve this?

Do you have any dashboards that were created in the dashboards module? If not you could delete the dashboards module.
