      Hi,
I would like to see support for modbus rtu over tcp/ip. I dont know how common it is to use this type of modbus. There is a nice 4-port converter from moxa that i use quite often and its name is "NPort 5430".

      /Tomas

        Hello Tomas,

Mango already supports Modbus RTU over TCP and UDP.

        Best regards,
        Matthew

I try to configure a gen-set controller without success.

Testing with modpoll using "Encapsulated Modbus RTU over TCP" works fine, but i can't do it with Mango.

AFAIK, RTU over TCP uses a header different than Modbus/TCP. I need a new data source type? I try with Modbus IP without sucess.

            Best regards,

            David Parra

How do you configure Modbus RTU over tcp? I do not see a setting for it.

I found it, you have to create datasource Modbus IP and check Encapsulate field. It works fine.
