      Hi ,
I try to add a string point into a mango Bacnet/Ip data base.
Mango is able to see the point but no option to add is available.

      Thanks

          Hi Mircea,

Your image didn't upload the first time. I have had the most luck with the 'upload image' button above the post body, and then sometimes I have to want a little when it was uploaded 100% for it to render. Once it has rendered in my preview, I know that it worked. I'm not sure that's what happened to your image, though.

If there is no add button next to the discovered object my guess is that Mango doesn't yet support that BACnet object type. What type of object is it?

            Hi Phil,
            Thanks .
This is what I see when I declare this point to be exported.

            Maybe this help too.

I try to export/import the value of a string from my controller to and from Mango.
Analog Value / Binary Value are ok but not string value.
            Thanks
            Mircea

Circling back to this thread to say that Characterstring have been added to BACnet 3.3.1 with read/write functionality, Calendars with read functionality, and schedules with read functionality now also support selecting the data type of the read value. 3.3.1 will most likely be released in the development state today, or fairly soon. I'll update this thread again when it is.
