Will version 3 import version 2.8.8 point configurations?

Can we import the csv point configurations from 2.8.8 without modification?
The import dialog displays "import in progress" but never finishes or returns and this is a brand new database !!!

YES use JSON to get the configuration in and then modify or update the datasource with csv and everything worked great!
