Perhaph's a silly question, but....do you think a .NET porting of Mango would be possibile ?
Nobody answers......too much affection for java ? Nobody out there thinking that .net 4.0/4.5 would be a great opportunity to make a change ?

Hi, I have exactly the same problem as yours, my log stops at

      INFO 2013-06-05 10:42:17,685 (com.serotonin.util.properties.ReloadingProperties
      .checkForReload:142) - (dglux) Found updated file(s) at [/home/paolo/mango/web/m
      odules/dglux/classes/dglux.properties]. Reloading properties

Furthermore, however, I cannot log-in to the Mango installation, at 8080. Did you solve this issue ?

      thanks,

    • Merge Modbus/TCP data with file data

Hi, when my device is offline it collects data and then uploads a bunch of files to my server once online again.
How can I scan these files within Mango, recognise datapoints and merge with modbus/tcp collected vaules of same datapoints ?

      Maybe the way exists.

You can use Javascript with imported FileInputStream and FileOutputStream. Or, you can create JAVA library for CSV file controlling and import to Javascript in datapoint.
I am using this for serial communication with unsuported protocols etc. Siemens Elan protocol.

Please, describe your requirements for CSV access.

Hi, that's exactly what I need
I wish to read some datapoints BOTH via Modbus/TCP when my device is online, and to read same datapoints stored locally in devices filesystem and uploaded to my server via some backup connection, in roder not to lose recordings on unreliable networks. Could you please explain better how to implement such a Javascript task and to integrate into Mango, or address me to a working example ?

    • Modbus/TCP realtime, HTTP offline

      Hi all

We ve been able to configure Mango in order to acquire periodically a copule of datapoints via ModBus/TCP.

Our remote device (http://www.equadro.com/Prodotti.php?Action=Vedi&id=4) has Ethernet and GPRS connectivity.

If/When our device is offline, we use to collect and store locally our points, and then we normally upload them to a server
once connection is restored. We store our measurements in internal filesystem.

Please notice that we can encode our variables in any format, eg labeling them (MODBUS/TCP: INREG: OFFSET=0x00: VALUE=xxxxx) and upload them via TFTP to same server who hosts Mango.

My question is, is it possible for Mango to parse this file, extract datapoints ane merge them with valued red (maybe 6 hours before, when our device was online) via Modbus/TCP ?

      Thank you for your help,

      Paolo
