    • Triggering multible Coils from one single button Modbus TCP

Hi I'm trying to trigger multible points (coils) from one single button in the interface. I have tried various stups using trigger points with no success. Do I need a basic script to do this?

    • Watch Dog Timer and FSV

Hi, I have a coupe of Avantech modules 4010/Lan and WISE 4060 they have 4 Digital in and 4 relays on them and there are a cost-effective good quality unit. In the software configuration on the "PLC" they offer a FSV (Fail Save Valve) which some how works with a watch dog timer (WDT). Basically if the module can't talk to the timer for a set period of time it goes to fail safe and a predefined relay state.
Talking to tech support I cant make head and tails of this. There aren't any settings of IP address on the module it's self for the WDT, so how dose it knows what to talk to, to verify connectivity? They ask me to look into a modbus master system...? I guess I have one.

Is there such a standard in Modbus TCP? and is this supported by Mango?

I did find a document, talking about how to install under windows a specific watchdog timer service, made by Avantech which would make perfect sense to me.
I really think the support guy has no clue.
I'm sure someone would have come across about this before? Any clue would be appriciated

    • RE: Timing a modbus IP relay to be held for a limited time

No, it doesn't have to be 500ms actually 3 seconds would be fine. I agree that this should be setup in the PLC however I would like to implement this in Mango. I had a look in setting up the "State" event detector on the data point. However I can't see how this is done.
Is there a document or a Video describing these processes? I would relay appreciate your help.

Hi I'm new to Mango I have hooked up my PLC ok and all is good. I have created a graphical UI wich has a button to close the relay on my PLC, however when I trigger the relay to be closed I would like to open it automatically after 500ms, I would appreciate any help I'm new to Mango.
