Can '/' be used in point name in Mango V4 beta?

While I was following the 'HVAC Dashboard Development Tutorial - Create energy chart component', I came across this point called 'kW/ton' that sits under 'General' meta data source.
I notice I could not get the chart to work unless I replace the character '/' in the point name with '_' so its name becomes 'kW_ton'.
My questions is - Can '/' be used in point name in Mango V4 beta?thanks!
