finding components on the dashboard easel after setting ng-show=false?
-
I have used the UI for about 30 hours now. The manipulation of objects is a little frustrating in that for selecting multiple components should have a tool like a lasso in addition to the keyboard
Also ..
After ng-show has been set to false, is there a way in the UI to see a wireframe of components like Illustrator or a way to select these hidden objects? It would also be wonderful if the UI could group and bind objects for easier manipulation also a way to select a group with just the mouse lasso. I'll put these things on my wish list. -

This is not something that's currently built in. However you could try adding this to the end of your page -
<style> .ng-hide.ma-designer-element { display: block !important; opacity: 0.25; } </style>
This will display any hidden elements as being greyed out, but only in the Designer.

I agree this would be useful.

Awsome! that's a huge help, thank-you Jared! It would be great if we could select a hidden element with a shift-click ..??

Why shift click? You can select it with a normal click or select multiple elements with Ctrl Click. It wont behave any differently to a normal element.

</style>My thought is that some of the hidden elements lie directly under the non hidden ones in panels which is why it would be nice to bind them together in a group to hide and unhide together and by pressing shift the UI would know to select only the hidden elements for manipulation. I don't think shift-click is being used otherwise.
