Serotonin Timeout Task alert

Periodically (~once a day) I get the following message:
High priority task: com.serotonin.m2m2.util.timeout.TimeoutTask@14124a was rejected because it is already running.
Where should I start looking for the resolution?

The best place to look is in upgrading to 2.8. These messages in 2.8 tell you what sort of task was rejected.
Off the bat you can know that it is a repeating task that will reschedule itself, and it is not actually a fatal error.
