How to email events list only

Events are optionally appended to a standard report. But is there a way to just email events as a group - over a time period - just like those appended to a report now?

You could copy the reportChart.ftl template from Mango/web/modules/reports/web/ftl/ into that same directory, give it another name like 'eventReport.ftl' and gut the report template for the
<#if includeEvents>section, then set up a report to use that template instead. Is that what you had in mind? -
